This decoration above the first floor windows of the shop is known as the 'Three Lunettes', made of terracotta. The left and right hand panels are identical, featuring eight dancers, whilst the middle piece shows the musicians playing a violin, cello, lyre, flute, recorder, and cymbals, together with a conductor. These scenes are believed to have been created by George Harry Cox in the early twentieth century.
The shop has had many incarnations, recently Etams, Top Shop and Restored, and now Crawshaws Butchers (as of Nov 16th 2015).
