Harlingen City Hall stands on the south side of the Noorderhaven opposite the Town Hall Bridge in Harlingen in the Dutch province of Friesland.
The town hall was in 1730 by city architect Hendrik Jacobs Norel built in Louis XIV style . In 1756 it was situated behind the new building , which dates from the 16th century , component replaced with a new wing . The also dating from that era tower was maintained. On the front facade has a balcony and a gilded statue of St. Michael, the patron saint of the city of Harlingen. The image was made by Gerbrandus van der Haven
