Sidley-Lawless Cemetery is within the Regional District of Kootenay Boundary. The cemetery is about 2 acres in size, and does not seem to we very well maintained, though the grass was fairly low at the time we visited. The cemetery was established about 1900.

There are approximately 22 interments. We did location one centenarian, G. Olive Johnson born in 1882 and passed away in 1983 at the age of 101.

To find the cemetery turn north off Hwy. 3 onto Sidley Mountain Road. There is a gate, which was unlocked when we visited the cemetery, be sure and close the gate after entering the driveway. Continue about 100 metres to the cemetery entrance. There is also a gate, which was locked, however it is easy to enter the cemetery.

The coordinates are accurate. However, when travelling on Hwy. 3 look for the red roof. We missed it though and had to turn around and had another look.
