Robert Lewis Seitner 1895-1978
"He was the oldest of five children born to Rachel L. and Samuel Seitner, an Austrian immigrant. His mother was born in Ohio but his father had emigrated from Austria in 1883. His parents married in 1894. His siblings included: Carl D. Seitner, Henrietta Seitner, Jeanne Louisa Seitner, and Alfred J. Seitner. He married Minna Cohen, whose family owned Cohen Brothers, the south's largest department store when it opened in 1912. He became Secretary/Treasurer of Cohen Brothers in Jacksonville, Florida." --Source (

Minna Cohen Seitner 1899-1964
"One of five children of Hattie and Jacob E. Cohen, proprietors of Cohen Brothers department store in Jacksonville, Florida. Cohens was called "The Big Store" as it was the largest department store in the southeast when it opened in 1912. The building in which it was housed was designed by Henry Klutho and today houses Jacksonville City Hall with the mayor's and city government offices.
Minna married Robert Seitner in 1921 and they would have at least three children, including: Robert C., Jack E., and Mina." --Source (
