Lysovice byly pres 700let osídleny obyvatelstvem nemecké národnosti, povetšinou zemedelci, v roce 1938 pripadly Lysovice a další vesnice, které tvorily takzvaný "Nemecký ostruvek" na Vyškovsku, k Nemecké ríši. Pri osvobozování se ruská vojska údajne rozmístila za obecním úradem s baterií del. Pri osvobozování obce nemel padnout jediný výstrel, snad jednu stodolu znicil zbloudilý delostrelecký granát, bez obetí. Po osvobození byla valná cást obyvatelstva nemeckého puvodu odsunuta, na jejich místa byly dosazeny rodiny z vyškovského okresu. Zbylí Nemci meli být nuceni vstoupit do komunistické strany, postupne z obce odešli i oni. Stavbu pomníku mela iniciovat skupina komunisticky smýšlejících rolníku, k výstavbe došlo v 70.letech. Note:
Lysovice were settled through the 700-year German population, mostly farmers, in 1938, accounted Lysovice and other villages that formed the so-called "German islet" on Vyškovsku, the German Reich. During the liberation of the Russian troops reportedly deployed at the municipal office with the battery works. During the liberation of the village did not fall a single shot, perhaps a barn destroyed by a stray artillery shell, without casualties. After the liberation of a large part of the population of German origin relegated to their places were achieved families of Vyškov district. The remaining Germans had to be forced to join the Communist Party gradually from the village they left. The construction of the monument should initiate a group of communist-minded peasants to have been constructed in the 70s. (Source Jan Kincl)
