A World War I monument in honor of those who served and in memory of those who fell is located on Pine Blvd. north of lake St. in Cooperstown, NY.

A 8' by 4' by 2.5' bronze sculpture of a World War I infantryman stands on top of a 6' by 8' by 8' granite boulder. The sculpture was created by Gerald D. Horn and cast at the T. F. McGann & Sons Company foundry. It was erected on Pine Blvd. in 1920.
A World War I infantryman stands on a granite boulder holding a rifle with both hands, horizontally at waist level. The rifle butt is in his right hand and the with both hands, the butt of the rifle in his proper right hand and the barrel in his left hand. He is wearings a helmet and packs both on his chest and back.
On the front of the boulder a bronze plaque is inscribed:

On the rear of the boulder is a two column list containing of 27 names of the fallen:
