The obelisk on Centenary Hill,(originally called Sugarloaf Hill, then Round Hill) was dedicated to the memory of the early settlers of the
wheatbelt by his excellency Sir William Campion Kingin 1929 ( the cetenary of the founding of W.A.)
A memorial attached is inscribed in lead lettering:
