In downtown Friedrichshafen there exists since December 2013, a free high-speed Wi-Fi - for all, with a time limit of 60 minutes and for any mobile device such as a laptop, tablet or smartphone. The running costs will bear the city of Friedrichshafen.
The offer is valid for all the users from home and abroad, users of WLAN-enabled smartphones, laptops or tablets can send a hour of walking every day for free online. The offer is independent from its own mobile operator.
And so it works:
First, the WLAN must be enabled on the terminal and available networks are displayed. Then choose and combine "Telekom". Launch your Web browser on the mobile device and enter any Internet address. Thereafter, the HotSpot portal appears. There enter the mobile phone number. Each user receives an access code via SMS on his mobile phone. If this access code entered in the HotSpot portal, an hour you can surf for free.
