Built in 1768, the Jeremiah Lee Mansion is a great example of Later Georgian architecture. It was designated at a National Historic Landmark in 1960.

Today the house is a museum owned by the Marblehead Historical Society. The property is open for tours between June and October from 10am to 4pm Tuesday thru Saturday. Guided tours of eighteen furnished rooms on three floors give visitors an overview of the daily life, surroundings, and occupations of Marblehead residents.
