Weyerhaeuser Land Survey 686 'T 38S R6E S22, S23, S26, S27' Section Corner - Klamath County, OR - Public Land Survey Marks on Waymarking.com

I recovered this Weyerhaeuser Land Survey section corner from 1970 in good condition. It is a 3" metal cap monumented on a metal pipe projecting about 12 inches above the ground. There is a metal fence post standing next to this survey mark that serves as a witness post. There are a couple of bearing trees nearby this section corner to aid in recovery. This section corner is located just off a forest road and about one-half mile NE of Clover Creek Road. This mark is not listed in the NGS database.

The cap contains the designation of '686'.
