Four-wing Renaissance chateau with a courtyard, commissioned by the Lobkovic family on the site of a former royal stone court. In the second half of the 18th century, it was most probably rebuilt by K. I. Dientzenhofer from the Baroque style to its present day form.

Zámek v Králove Dvore u Berouna postavil Jan Jr. z Lobkovic v 1585. Predtím starší budova tady stála, pravdepodobne z pocátku 15. století, ve vlastnictví pánu z Burenic.

Toto královské vlastnost zacal být používán jako lovecký zámek v 1594. To získal svou dnešní podobu na konci 17. / pocátku 18. století.
