In 1432, the then Bishop of Utrecht permission for construction. The construction began in 1432. The church consists of a 15th century Gothic nave and chancel with a north aisle in 1518. Neo-classicism east facade from 1779 to 1781 by A. Sorg.
The profiled entrance gate is from 1540.
Remodeled in 1718.
Repaired in the 1827.
