Seaside Park was established as a recreation area for the residents of Marblehead. Land was acquired by the town in 1885. In 1916 the town built the existing grandstand. It was almost demolished in the 2000's but saved and restored in 2007. The grandstand is known as Elliott Roundy Grandstand. it is a 14.3 acre park. The park includes a baseball field (used semi-pro and amateur), tennis courts, basketball courts, a small playground and handball courts.
