Preštice is a town in the Plzen Region of the Czech Republic. It lies on the Úhlava River, some 20 km (12 mi) to the south from the region capital of Pilsen.
Dominant feature of Prestice is a baroque church Nanebevzetí Panny Marie (
visit link) , which was built in 1750–1775 by the important builder Kilián Ignác Dientzenhofer and it is declared national cultural monument.
Just a few dozen steps from this nice church is art of this day - the sculpture of two pigs :-(
