In one of the westernmost points of The Netherlands, this post is used for counting bird migratory and also a fine watching point, on top of the sea dyke.
Some plaques tell about the birds here around. You can see here the Sandwich tern, Sabine's gull, Little gull, Common and Little tern for example. You can also see many types of Sandpipers, etc.
Behind the dyke is a huge marsh which is a excellent resting place for migratory birds.
