This is the airport in São Vicente Island and one of the four international airports in the country.

This is a small airport with a few international flights but it's paramount to the region as it serves two of the most populated islands of the country: São Vicente and the nearby Santo Antão which doesn't have its own airport.
The airport is about 12 km far from the town. One can take a taxi or if budget is an issue and language isn't, there are collective taxis passing in the road just in front of the terminal.
It's a nice airport, quite new, well equipped. It was named after the famous singer Cesária Évora, arguably the most notorious citizen of the country.
