All the trees lining the Avenue of Remembrance in Sittingbourne are dedicated to the fallen in WWI.

"Avenue of lime trees with individual name plaque placed at the foot of each one. Additional trees planted for the fallen of WW2. Dedicatory plaque placed at the start of the road and additoinal plaques placed along it.

Plaque one: Avenue of Remembrance/ 1914 - 1918./ the trees in this avenue were planted and named in/ remembrance of sittingbourne men who fell in the great war
