Near Winter Harbor, within the campus of the Schoodic Education Research Center (SERC) in Acadia National Park is a trail register for the Sundew Trail.
Sundew Trail is a relatively short path on the western side of the SERC campus on Big Moose Island - part of Schoodic Head. The two ends to the trail come from different parts of the campus, one a building to the south, and a playground and helipad on the north. The trail goes down a moderate slope through mossy pine woods to the bare rocks along the shore. The rocks would have provided nice view of the ocean, but at the time of the visit it was heavily clouded.
The register is near the rocks rather than at either of the ends. It is at a junction with the short trail to the rocks. There is a sign next to it pointing to each end with "Picnic Pavilion" to the left and "Gymnasium" to the right."
