The 5 Drive-in opened in 1964 with one screen. A second screen was added in 1980 and the third screen was added in 2001. Premier owns this Drive-In which can fit up to 1100 cars.
The 5 has all of the usual attractions. Playground for the kids, snack-bar, a real live diner of the 50's vintage and an outdoor barbeque pit.
It's been a lot of years since going to a drive-in theatre for me. The last time was with my wife and children around 25 years ago and the first would be ...... Ah, I think I'm in the 3rd row from the front.
Certainly a lot of great memories. Arriving by bicycle and sneaking in by crawling under the fence; hiding in the trunk of a friend's car; taking a girl-friend on a first date. Ah the good ole days.
