[DE] Der 17 Meter hohe Aussichtsturm in moderner Stahl-Holz-Konstruktion wurde nach drei Monaten Bauzeit am 20.12.2015 eingeweiht. Die Stadt nahm den Hessentag 2016 zum Anlass, um an dem exponierten Flecken nahe des Wildgeheges und des Rasthauses Dollenberg einen touristischen Anziehungspunkt zu schaffen.

[EN]The 17 meter high observation tower in modern steel-wood construction was inaugurated after three months of construction on 12/20/2015. The town of Herborn took the Hessentag 2016 as an opportunity to create a tourist attraction on this exposed spot near a game reserve and the Autobahn rest-house Dollenberg.
