Pitam Niwas Chowk is the inner courtyard, which provides access to the Chandra Mahal the private residence of the Jaipur Royal family.

In this courtyard, there are four small gates (known as Ridhi Sidhi Pol) that are adorned with themes representing the four seasons and Hindu gods. The Northeast Peacock Gate represents autumn and is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. The beautiful mural is adorned with, among others, motifs of dancing peacocks and blooming lotus.
