Born in 1897 in Michigan, she came here with her husband, James, in 1923. They operated a grocery store until 1925 and purchased the Little Inn in 1925. They helped incorporate Windermere in 1925. Her husband served as town clerk from 1930-1936 and she occupied the office from 1937-1960. She died in 1974.
