EN: The railway viaduct crosses the valley to Häfelfingen right next to the village center of Rümlingen.

The railway station of Rümlingen is located at the northeast edge of town, just before the railway viaduct across the valley.

Rümlingen is a station on the Hauenstein-summit line, which is considered the first mountain railway line in Switzerland. It was one of the major rail links between Northwest Switzerland and the central midlands from 1856 until the construction of the shorter and less steep Hauenstein base line in 1916. Since then, the route is only a regional branch line, in 1938, it was reverted to single track. Today there are hourly regional trains, and plans for tourist trains with steam locomotives are discussed.
