Located in front of the R.C. Baker Memorial Museum are a number of dedicated trees. One of the dedicated trees contains a small plaque monumented on the sidewalk near the tree's base and it reads:

In Memory of
TOM AND AGNES HICKEY
By
James and Valerie Hickey

Tom Hickey was born in 1885 and Agnes was born in 1891 and were some of the first residents of the town of Coalinga. The Hickey family operated the Hickey Pipe and Supply Co. which provided oil drilling parts and other supplies and materials. The company no longer exists (may have been one of the victims of the town's earthquake disaster of 1983).

Location of the tree: R.C. Baker Memorial Museum

Type of tree: Elm
