EN: The cemetery of Rümlingen is located between the church and the railway viaduct in the village center.
The approximately 300 graves are distributed in a rectangular area, which is surrounded by a low wall. Until the 17th century, the bones out of repealed graves were placed in an ossuary, which is still preserved on the opposite side of the Church.
The location between the medieval church and the striking railway viaduct from 1855 gives this cemetery a special character.
DE: Der Friedhof von Rümlingen befindet sich zwischen der Kirche und dem Eisenbahnviadukt im Dorfzentrum.
Die etwa 300 Gräber sind in einer rechteckigen Fläche verteilt, die von einer niedrigen Mauer umgeben ist. Bis ins 17. Jahrhundert wurden die Gebeine aus aufgehobenen Gräbern in ein Beinhaus gebracht, das noch auf der gegenüberliegenden Seite der Kirche erhalten ist.
Die Lage zwischen der mittelalterlichen Kirche und dem markanten Eisenbahnviadukt von 1855 verleiht dem Friedhof einen speziellen Charakter.
