Ruinerwold is a famous small town known for the pears.

Pears Pick Ruinerwold on the Doctor Larijweg is a big party for the whole family!
Traditionally the more than 1,100 trees on the 7-kilometer doctor Larijweg tehe trees are sold on the 1st Saturday in October, per piece or per lot.
The trees are sold by auction to the highest bidder. The winner has  24:00 time to pick the pears. Then the trees are generally good and everyone should take the remaining pears.
