This mark is cut into the brickwork of a bridge parapet on the north east side of Sydenham Road. The bridge carries Sydenham Road across railway tracks and is just south of Sydenham Station.

The mark is damaged. The datum line has cracked along its length resulting in the piece of brick below the datum line breaking free. This has been re-pointed back into place. The arrow is in good condition but there is some mortar filling part of the right leg of the arrow. The mark is easy to locate.
