EN: On the square between the Roman Museum and the Roman theater in Augst is a bronze model of the city of Augusta Raurica and the surrounding area, as it looked like in its heyday around the year 240 AD.
The model has a scale of 1:500. With an area of 13 square meters and weighing 1.2 metric tons, it is the largest ever produced bronze model of a Roman city.
DE: Auf dem Platz zwischen dem Römermuseum und dem römischen Theater in Augst steht ein Bronzemodell der Stadt Augusta Raurica und der näheren Umgebung, so wie sie zu ihrer Blütezeit um das Jahr 240 ausgesehen hat.
