At the time of the founding of Baie-Comeau in the late 30's, this was basically the whole town. Now it has grown to a town of 22000 people, eight parishes and divided into two sectors. The spot chosen for the scenic view is an a bicycle/walking trail right alongside the main highway to the wharf area. The view is also spectacular at night when spotlights shine on Le Manoir (a 5-star hotel that looks like a castle) and the beautiful Catholic church of Ste.Amélie. )
Au moment de la fondation de Baie-Comeau, à la fin des années 1930, ce fut essentiellement la ville entière. Maintenant, il a grandi dans une ville de 22000 personnes, huit paroisses et divisée en deux secteurs. L'endroit choisi pour la vue panoramique est sur la piste cyclable ou de marche, juste à côté de la route du quai. La vue est aussi spectaculaire la nuit, lorsque les projecteurs brillent sur Le Manoir (un hôtel 5 étoiles qui ressemble à un château) et la belle Église catholique de Ste.Amélie.
