Unicov town, one of seven Moravian royal towns, is situated in crossing of Hana plain, the Hruby Jesenik and Nizky Jesenik.
Unicov town was established round 1213 by Vladislav Jindrich, a Moravian margrave. It was approved by his brother, King Premysl Otakar I, in 1223. Unicov town owns the oldest town document in the whole area of Bohemia and Moravia.

In historic cetre of town is main square. There are two fountains - first fountain (visit link) is decorated with an eagle statue. The eagle is symbol of Unicov town.
The second fountain is decorated with Neptune statue.

Neptune was the god of freshwater and the sea in Roman religion. He is the counterpart of the Greek god Poseidon. In the Greek-influenced tradition, Neptune was the brother of Jupiter and Pluto; the brothers presided over the realms of Heaven, the earthly world, and the Underworld. Salacia was his consort.
