EN: The Chapel of St. Peter stands on the north bank of the river Reuss just next to the world-famous Chapel Bridge, which is named after it. It was rebuilt in Baroque style in 1749. Previously, there was a chapel from the 12th century at this location, of which a few elements were taken over in the new building. The paintings on the outer wall date from the 19th and early 20th century.
DE: Die Kapelle St. Peter steht am Nordufer der Reuss gleich bei der weltberühmten Kapellbrücke, die nach ihr benannt ist. Sie wurde 1749 in barockem Stil neu erbaut. Zuvor war an der selben Stelle eine Kapelle aus dem 12. Jahrhundert, von der einige wenige Elemente übernommen wurden. Die Gemälde an der Aussenwand stammen aus dem 19. und frühen 20. Jahrhundert.
