Weerde is a railway station in the town of Weerde, Flemish Brabant, Belgium. The station opened on 1 January 1864 on the Lines 25 and 27. The train services are operated by National Railway Company of Belgium (NMBS).
The station is located along the first public railway ( Line 25 : Mechelen - Brussels), which was opened in Belgium . At the time, both wanted Zemst as Weerde a station . The station was therefore built on approximately equidistant from the two villages. Gradually, the two villages have grown toward each other so that the station is now located between the houses. In the sixties, an independent building was demolished which had served as a warehouse and restrooms. Today, standing in that place the bicycle at the station . - source Wikipedia
