Starý Lískovec (nemecky Alt Leskau) je mestská ctvrt a katastrální území, a od 24. listopadu 1990 pod názvem Brno-Starý Lískovec také mestská cást statutárního mesta Brna, ležící na jihozápadním okraji mesta, presto však relativne blízko centra. Pro úcely senátních voleb je území mestské cásti Brno-Starý Lískovec zarazeno do volebního obvodu císlo 59. Od roku 2012 již ale není mestská cást Brno-Starý Lískovec územne identická s katastrálním územím Starý Lískovec, protože došlo ke zmene správní hranice s mestskou cástí Brno-Nový Lískovec, pricemž malá okrajová cást katastrálního území Starý Lískovec prešla k území mestské cásti Brno-Nový Lískovec, která zase predala do správy mestské cásti Brno-Starý Lískovec malou okrajovou cást katastrálního území Nový Lískovec.
