The Svetlá Chateau was built in Middle Ages by Stephen from Sternberg. He built gothic stronghold with ditches.

One of the most important family in Svetlá´s manor were Trcka from Lípa. They rebuilt former stronghold on hunting castle in renaissance style. Trcka from Lípa lived in Svetlá to the year 1636, when they lost their property.
On the Svetlá ´s manor lived a lot of next owners: Jan Bartolomej from Vernier, Czernin, Kolovrat-Krakowsky or František Josef Zichy.
Last noble family was Salm- Reifferscheidt, which invited architect Svatoš from Wien. In this time there was built local orangery, which perseid to this day.
