The Visitors Center in the lobby of the opera house is a small museum with historical photographs, and artifacts from nearby Fort Inge, a mid-19th Century frontier fortress. It also houses memorabilia from Uvalde native Dolph Briscoe who served as governor of Texas from 1973 until early 1979.
