While we were walking around Bar Harbor to find a gluten-free restaurant, we saw "98% Gluten-free Menu" on a chalkboard at the entrance, and we had to try it - and weren't disappointed!

In Bar Harbor, near the waterfront, is Geddy's Restaurant, which proudly proclaims that 98% of the entire menu, and 100% of the fried foods, is gluten-free.
Geddy's is located along Main Street, near the green that is by the waterfront. Parking is available on the street.
The building is a multi-colored and has an eclectic collection of decorative features that include 3-D lobster claws, license plates and a wire moose on the peak. The entrance is on the left side, at street level.
The chalkboard by the door had the following in big letters:
"98%
Gluten-free
Menu"
The inside is just as eclectic, with signs and other objects mounted everywhere and wood paneling. Toward the back is a mural with various cartoon characters.
The wait person explained that the menu is indeed 98% gluten free. One decision was to use non-gluten bread and batter for all fried items. Some things they aren't in control of, such as the clam chowder - so that wasn't. But the wait person was very knowledgeable and helped in the selection.
Ultimately, a pizza was selected, which was well deemed 'really good.' The other item on that chalkboard was a lobster dinner - which was also deemed 'really good.'
