Description of Memorial: A tall flag pole rising from a bed of roses, and along side a tombstone like monument with a bronze plaque. The plaque contains an Eagle with spread wings to protect the names of the fallen from this county, which are listed beneath not only the eagle, but also a quote from the area's favorite son - William Faulkner.
