The mark is cut into the stonework of the porch of St Bene't church ib Cambridge. The mark is on the east face of the porch. Parts of the chruch date from 1000-1050 AD.

The datum line is in good condition. The arrow has suffered some damage with a chunk of stone missing that has taken the arrow's right leg with it. The left leg has been filled with mortar when some re-pointing work has been undertaken. The centre leg is undamaged. The mark is easy to locate.
