We do not have the month and day of the death of Nellie J. Chapman Sellers, so we don't know if she lived to 103 years old; but she lived to at least 102 years. She was born to John Hamilton Chapman (1842-1938) and Harriet Coddington Chapman (1850-1921) on 15 April 1881 in Anderson. She married James W. Sellers (1873-1939), and they had one child, who passed away the year after Nellie.

Nellie died sometime in 1984 at the Senior Citizens Home in Neosho, Missouri. Of the six centenarians buried in Anderson Cemetery at the time of this waymark posting, three of them were from the Chapman family -- in fact, the same family!
