Edyth was born to William Taylor Rich (1843-1911) and Nancy Myers Rich (1845-1925) on 13 November 1886 in Hamilton County, Illinois -- one of their four children. She married Jacob Monroe Roark (1883-1964), and they had four children; three of which are listed in her FindAGrave entry. (Normal Jane, born 1905, is not listed. Her death date is not found elsewhere, and she may have died as an infant?)

Edyth passed away on 19 December 1987, a month after her 101st birthday. She had been living in Anderson at the time.
