These are my personal favourite type of map. Thet are cast and very tactile, humourous and informative. They even have a few words in braille for the benefit of the visually impaired.
The dotted circle around the "you are here" indicates a walking time of about 10 minutes. The larger dotted line that starts on the right side of the map and works its way across to the left side represents the Green Chain Walk.
Roads and rail tracks are shown and park areas (open spaces) are coloured green. Train stations and bus stops are also indicated. Other symbols on the map are cross-referenced to a key below the map.
The map is orientated north-up.
