From the Sisters Ranger Station, travel generally NW on US20 for 12.2 miles. Turn right onto FR12 and continue for a1most 1.0 mile. Turn right onto FR1216 and continue for 0.3 miles. Turn right onto FR1216-100 and continue 0.2 miles, past an intersection, to the corner on the left.
Type of survey mark: 3-1/4" brass cap on iron pipe; rising 3"

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
The quarter corner, marked by a ponderosa pine which is now a windfall, is E about 380' from the road. The reference monument bears NW, 7'3" distant from the stump hole. There is a yellow plastic cap on a length of 5/8" rebar, rising 12", which bears SE, 10'3" from the reference monument. There are PROPERTY BOUNDARY signs mounted on two T-posts which bear from the stump hole. One E, 13' and the other S, 16' distant. Found four trees with partly healed blazes, yellow BEARING TREE tags and LAND SURVEY MONUMENT signs on the reverse sides. One also has a Brooks-Scanlon Inc. LOCATION POSTER Based on field measured GPS UTM grid coordinates, the present reference monument bears N86.2°W from T13S R9E S18 17 20 19 COR, 2657' distant.
