The so-called "Moleturm", a Lookout Tower, is open to the public and gives great views of the city and the "Bodensee".

The "Moleturm" ist located at the promenade in the south of Friedrichshafen.

Built in 2000, the tower is 22,25 meters high and has nine platforms. The structure weighs over 47 tons and marks the entrance of the port in Friedrichshafen.

From the observation deck at the top, you see the city, the port and the Bodensee. In very clear days, Switzerland, Austria and the Alps.
