This black plaque is attached to a building on the south east side of Queen Street at the junction with Upper King Street in Norwich. The plaque advises when the street obtained its current name and its previous name.

The plaque has the following wording:

Known as Red Well Street in the 18th century,
its name changed by the early 19th century.
The old well was on the corner of Queens Street
and Rodwell Street, by the churchyard wall.
