County of bell: Warren County
Location of bell: 950 S. MO-47, St. John's lawn, Warrenton

Where the bell came from I do not know. I do know the bell has a lanyard stretching into the lobby of the main entrance to the church. I assume it is rung to get the parishioners out of the parking lot - jabbering, and into their pews.

The bell is rather small for a church bell, looks more like it was once in a frame school house from the 1800s.
Maybe it was in the original frame church.
But I cannot confirm or deny any tale of existence.
