"The Five Mile Point Fire Company provides primary fire protection to businesses and the residents in our fire district, which is located in the Town of Kirkwood. Kirkwood located in the Southern Tier of NY just East of the City of Binghamton and borders Pennsylvania to the South. The Town of Kirkwood approximately 30 square miles and is protected by two fire departments. Kirkwood Fire Co. covers the Southern end of town while the Five Mile Point Fire Co. covers the Northern end. "
