"The Festival will bring generations of families together, spanning four waves of immigration from Ukraine...A school, convent, rectory and cemetery were added to serve the needs of the growing parish. Religious vocations from the parish include five nuns, four priests and a bishop...The Byzantine Rite welcomes Catholics from all other rites in the Catholic Church to participate fully in Catholic sacraments in the Church. "
"The Festival will offer traditional Ukrainian food both for on-site dining and take-home. Pysanky (Easter egg) writing demonstrations, Ukrainian jewelry, books, artifacts and clothing will be sold. Musical entertainment will be offered, and the main concert at 5 p.m. will feature the fabulous Odesa Ukrainian Dance Ensemble. A band from Rochester, “My Razom” (“Together”) will offer dance music both evenings, from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m."
