The gymnasium building and other buildings are used by varied groups for recreational purposes. The gym was the host facility for a vigorous industrial basketball league in years past. Because of the downturn in economy, many industries in the area closed or can no longer sponsor athletic teams. Mostly, the gym is used for an after school program and kids recreational basketball teams.
