"Located on the south side of the Joint Institute for Laboratory Astrophysics (JILA) building at the University of Colorado, this bas-relief sculpture depicts 3 figures against a tiled background. The top male figure is looking through a telescope. The middle male figure is balancing three spear-like objects. The lower female figure is holding a planetary model.
