This utility box is another example of showing some of the history of Kelowna. Shown is the Royal Anne Hotel circa 1940s.

The Royal Anne Hotel was established in 1905, one of the original hotels in Kelowna. A fire destroyed the original hotel in 1971 and it was rebuilt. It is still functioning as a hotel.
